Trinity prefers to spend time with humans over horses, so he’s probably the best therapy horse that we have in the herd right now.  He’s very gentle with kids like Dash, but he’s calmer than any of our other minis.

September, 2008:

One day
soon after we moved to the Martin Farm and introduced the minis to the large horses, Trinity was up near the barn with us and decided that he wanted to go out into the pasture with the other horses.  He whinnied twice, and Chieftain immediately came from the back of the pasture loping up to the barn to collect Trinity and take him out to the pasture.  We were completely impressed with the commitment that the other gelding minis had to Trinity when he was just one year old and coping with big horses in the same pasture.

September, 2007:

Trinity’s baby photos...  We purchased Trinity with the intent of using him for equine therapy.  He’s been a very sweet horse since he was born.

Trinity’s Story

April, 2011

Trinity is the mini who’s first at the gate

to go to do therapy work and the one who wants to be with the children over anything else.

We have two minis that trot very slowly, so we use them to drive with very young children as young as three years old.

Trinity is a horse that we use on the obstacle course and for cart driving, and he’s good as an all-around therapy horse.
