Sir Lancelot

August, 2009:

Sir Lancelot is a black beauty that we received through a personal donation after the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s fundraiser this spring.  Sir Lancelot, Magic, and Silver Treasure were auctioned off at the event in March and then donated to our organization earlier this month.

Sir Lancelot was still a stallion, so we had him gelded immediately thanks to the donation by Equiplex Vet Clinic in Flower Mound.

Sir Lancelot is the sweetest of the three new minis, and we wonder if he’s going to turn into another amazing horse for our equine therapy program.

The kids are working with him and getting him ready for the program, so time will tell how this little beauty turns out.

December, 2009:

Sir Lancelot cut his foot recently and had to come into the city, so he’s been in training daily.  It’s been reallly good for him.  Dash came into the city to be with him, so all of Dash’s greatness seems to be rubbing off on Lance.  The two are good buddies, and Savannah, one of our kid trainers, is spending time with Lance running him around and taking him to a new level of training.

Lance is only a yearling, so he is having new adventures every week and we’re enjoying our time with him immensely.

April, 2011:

Lancelot is the darling of the minis.  He’s just so cute and sweet.  He has been living in Aledo with Rhonda, one of our Board members since last August; and he’s become a pocket puppy of a horse.

Lancelot has always been sweet, but he’s become even nicer while in Rhonda’s care.

We hope to have a facility in the city, so we can share this precious mini with little children who need a special buddy.

But for the time being, Lance runs like the wind and plays and romps in the gorgeous surroundings in Aledo.
